Job Title: Typesetter

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Typesetter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for typography and layout, as well as a working knowledge of graphic design and digital printing processes. This position plays a key role in preparing print-ready files and ensuring high-quality visual presentation across all printed materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Format and arrange text and graphic elements for print and digital production
Ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and layout alignment
Apply typographic standards to enhance readability and visual appeal
Prepare files according to production and printing requirements
Review and approve proofs before final printing
Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a typesetter, layout artist, or in a similar role
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong understanding of typography, design principles, and prepress processes
Knowledge of digital printing and print production workflows is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with proofing and quality control processes
Experience working in a commercial print shop or similar setting
