Job Title: Surveyor (Part-Time)
Location: Various subway stations throughout the PATH system, New Jersey and Manhattan
Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Surveyors to conduct in-person intercept surveys at 13 subway stations in the PATH system. The role requires on-time attendance, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to conduct interviews using tablet technology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person surveys with PATH riders using tablet computers.
- Distribute postcards to riders unable to complete the survey during the initial interaction.
- Exhibit professionalism by wearing required badges and safety vests.
- Remain at the assigned station for the entirety of each shift, unless otherwise directed.
- Utilize the Connecteam app for timesheets, communication, and scheduling.
Work Schedule:
- Fielding will take place from April 8 to May 9, with training scheduled for April 7 at 10 am (location to be provided).
- Shifts will vary in length and timing, including some early shifts starting as early as 5 am and late shifts ending as late as 2 am.
- Weekday shifts are available Tuesday through Thursday, with weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
- Anticipated work hours are as follows:
- Weekdays (Tuesday-Thursday): 5 am – 11 pm
- Weekend Shifts for NJ Stations: 7 am – 11 pm both Saturday and Sunday
Qualifications:
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with the public.
- Comfortable using smartphones and tablet applications.
- Familiarity with Google Maps for route navigation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 7-8 hours).
- Willingness to ask personal travel and demographic questions in a respectful manner.
Additional Information:
- Up to 25 surveyors may be required on any given day, with an average need of 18-22 surveyors.
- Paid training sessions will be conducted to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge for consistent survey implementation.
