Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of E-Commerce with a passion for fashion and a strong background in digital strategy to lead our online business. This role will own the digital sales strategy across all channels, driving growth, optimizing user experience, and maximizing conversions. The ideal candidate will blend a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and performance marketing with a keen eye for fashion trends, customer behavior, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement innovative e-commerce strategies to increase sales, customer acquisition, and overall digital performance.
Create and manage online sales forecasts and promotional calendars, aligned with seasonal fashion trends and product launches.
Identify and execute new opportunities for growth across web, mobile, and emerging digital platforms.
Digital Marketing & Performance
Oversee all digital acquisition channels (SEO, SEM, paid social, affiliate, retargeting) to drive high-quality traffic and ROI.
Lead keyword strategy, Google Ads, and SEM to enhance visibility and performance.
Partner with external agencies for SEO and performance marketing, ensuring results and best-in-class strategy.
Drive and optimize email, SMS, and loyalty programs with personalized content and lifecycle strategies.
Customer Experience & Conversion
Own and optimize the customer journey—from homepage to checkout—ensuring a seamless, premium, and fashion-forward experience.
Lead A/B testing, product recommendations, and UX optimizations to improve conversion and retention.
Improve PDP (product detail pages), merchandising, and storytelling to enhance product discoverability and conversion.
Content & Brand Alignment
Collaborate with the brand, creative, and merchandising teams to ensure consistent brand presentation and messaging across digital touchpoints.
Oversee content creation for product pages, landing pages, and editorial content, ensuring it reflects our fashion voice and seasonal direction.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor site traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, site speed, and user behavior.
Provide regular reports and insights on KPIs, campaign performance, and e-commerce initiatives.
Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Technology & Operations
Manage e-commerce platform (Shopify), including integrations with ERP, CRM, and third-party tools.
Plan and lead website development, feature launches, and platform enhancements.
Ensure inventory visibility, product availability, and efficient operations across all digital channels.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor the e-commerce and digital marketing team, fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, customer service, and IT to deliver a unified customer experience.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience in e-commerce, preferably within the fashion, apparel, or lifestyle industry.
Proven leadership experience managing an e-commerce business with a strong growth trajectory.
Expert in Shopify, Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and digital advertising platforms.
Strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention strategies, and performance marketing.
Excellent analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights.
Project management experience with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong brand storytelling is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field.
