Ideal candidate is looking to supplement their income on a flat-fee basis, has INCREDIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER with clients, and understands that the work of a per-diem appearance attorney is 1/3 advocate, 1/3 court reporter, and 1/3 THERAPIST, and may involve significant time waiting for a case to be called.
A valid photo Attorney ID is mandatory. A Real ID is also mandatory for federal (immigration) appearances.
Punctuality, extraordinary people skills, and solid writing skills are required. Solid professionalism and performance are also required.
Experience is preferred, but is not mandatory. An ability to speak Spanish is helpful, but is also not mandatory.
First thing in responses should be "Per Diem Appearances for . . . locations," and list which locations you believe you can cover.
Include your resume, a writing sample, and a paragraph stating why you would be a good fit for this request. Newly admitted attorneys are welcome, but BROs, hotheads, and "I only do things my way" attitudes need not apply.
