Position Overview
We’re seeking a smart, resourceful, AI-savvy professional to support our whistleblower and qui tam litigation team. This isn’t a typical document review role — we want someone who thrives on learning, can help integrate AI into workflows, and isn’t afraid to dig into large datasets, identify key evidence, and assist in building high-impact cases.
This is a non-attorney role, but you'll be working closely with attorneys on cutting-edge litigation and tech-forward processes. Ideal for someone who is legally curious, highly intelligent, and excited about how AI is reshaping the legal world.
Core Responsibilities
Assist with document review, organization, and analysis in high-stakes FCA and whistleblower cases
Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoCounsel, Relativity AI, custom GPT apps) to streamline case development
Flag relevant documents for privilege, responsiveness, and hot issues
Help test and implement AI workflows to improve efficiency in discovery, data analysis, and case prep
Generate memos, timelines, summaries, and evidence charts to support litigation teams
Participate in internal brainstorming on AI/legaltech strategy
Occasionally assist with admin/legal ops tasks (e.g., organizing case files, monitoring deadlines)
Assist with intakes and retention process
What We’re Looking For
High intellect and strong common sense; you figure things out quickly
Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
Demonstrated interest or experience in AI, automation, or legal tech
Familiarity with platforms like ChatGPT, Casetext, Relativity, or similar is a strong plus
Comfort working with structured and unstructured data
Legal background or paralegal experience is helpful, but not required
Bachelor's degree or higher
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience in whistleblower/FCA/healthcare fraud or litigation support
Background in data analytics, compliance, or tech implementation
Some coding or scripting experience (e.g., Python, SQL, prompt engineering)
