Entry Level Warehouse/ Driver (Kenilworth, NJ)
compensation: $18/hr + PTO. FULL TIME
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm. ½ hr for lunch. Total 40 hours/week.
We are a machine shop located in Kenilworth, NJ. We have been in business for 15 years. We manufacture washers/fasteners and need help in the packaging department. We are currently looking for a detail oriented candidate who's capable of doing repetitive work daily.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hand package fasteners and other products
Hand assemble fasteners and other products.
Inspect finished packages for accuracy.
Label boxes by hand.
Sort products by hand.
Place completed boxes on pallets, wrap pallets, label pallets.
We are small shop with 13 employees so there will be times that we require other secondary Responsibilities:
Pulling out Inventory
Deliveries via company truck(Dropping off and picking up inventory)
Organizing Inventory
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
Previous packaging experience.
Comfortable doing repetitive work while seated.
STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL a must!
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Ability to lift relatively heavy boxes desired.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Be comfortable standing most of the day.
Must be able to take direction and communicate effectively with management.
Able to speak and understand English.
Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation.
Forklift experience (optional, not required)
Pass a background check
Have working papers
