WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
This position is responsible for accurately picking, labeling, distributing, and putting away fabric trim orders destined for ultra-high-end residential, hospitality, entertainment and similar venues within established deadlines. The key areas the successful individual will always focus on include our customers’ experience, quality, productivity, and the development of their team.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Picks the correct inventory from bays/bins -while having the ability to pick the best-fitting piece - based on order size.
Labels/Re-spools if necessary and returns all inventory to the dedicated locations, meeting all established productivity and quality requirements set by management.
Records low inventory levels and replenish them from overstock location.
Communicates and collaborates on issues with orders or products with the team in a timely manner.
Encourages and enforces established company values and warehouse standards or requirements for quality, productivity, safety, and housekeeping.
Assists with the performance of inventory audit as requested.
Ensures bins are labeled correctly and updates if necessary.
Maintains inventory, including the upkeep of a clean and organized warehouse.
Leads by example and encourages compliance with company policies and procedures.
All other duties and tasks as may be assigned.
WHO YOU ARE:
Organizational ability
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work in a team environment
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without accommodations, climb ladders as necessary, carry freight and stand for the majority of shift
High School diploma / GED preferred
Ability to work under constant pressure and meet deadlines.
