Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for handling warranty claims and repairs at customer sites. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively, addressing customer concerns with professionalism and expertise. This role requires a reliable, skilled, and handy technician who has experience in home remodeling and repairs, with a particular focus on roofing, siding, windows, and doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair roofing, siding, window, and door issues under warranty claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers’ needs are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to installations, ensuring all work meets company and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the nature of repairs, timelines, and any necessary follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs made, and materials used.
- Ensure all company tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained.
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
- Manage service appointments and schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints or issues related to installations.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service, specifically in home remodeling (roofing, siding, windows, or doors).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with safety practices and ability to adhere to all safety regulations.
- Own tools required for the job.
- Previous experience working with warranty claims and service repairs is preferred.
