Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Supervisor Carpenter to join our team. As a Lead Supervisor Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes supervising the construction crew and subcontractors, contributing hands-on carpentry work, ensuring quality control and ensuring projects are completed on time.
This position requires a seasoned professional capable of overseeing various aspects of project execution while demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Managing multiple large commercial projects simultaneously.
Collaborating with project owners to assess equipment, tool, labor, and material requirements.
Communicating effectively with clients while on-site.
Adaptability to work in telecommunication environments, critical data centers, and similar conditions.
Expertise in rough carpentry, encompassing wood and metal framing.
Proficiency in drywall installation.
Skill in installing acoustic ceilings.
Experience in door installation and hardware implementation.
Masonry and concrete abilities are advantageous.
Qualifications:
Must be able to manage jobs $10m+
high rise experience
multifamily experience
20 years of relevant experience in commercial interior office renovations.
5 years experience in a lead supervisor carpenter position.
Possession of OSHA 10 training is required (we offer reimbursement if needed).
Daily access to basic tools.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation (car or truck).
Ability to pass a drug test.
Proficiency in speaking and understanding English.
Safety-oriented with a willingness to undergo OSHA courses.
Demonstrates leadership qualities.
Responsible and punctual.
Resourceful problem solver.
Flexibility to work across North and Central NJ.
Preference is given to candidates residing in Totowa, NJ. However, it's important to note that following the completion of specific projects, you will be expected to work across North and Central NJ.
