Required qualifications
Minimum 5 years of problem-solving and repair experience.
Must have your own tools, including diagnostic tools (if you don't, you will not be considered).
Must have a valid driver’s license. (if you don't, you will not be considered).
Preferred qualifications
Bilingual (english & spanish).
Check engine diagnosis expertise.
Job duties
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
Responsible for explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to co-workers.
Assist fellow technicians/mechanics.
Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Possess fine motor skills to operate tools and machinery.
Inspect, test, diagnose and repair brakes and hydraulic, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, front end suspension and alignment, engine & transmission swap, timing belt, timing chain, mount and balance tires.
Must be able to lift, carry and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Frequent standing and walking.
Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, squatting, bending, kneeling and twisting.
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Saturdays: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Sundays: off.
We offer competitive pay and paid vacations.
Salary $800 - $1,300 based on experience + commissions.
We have a large, loyal customer base. This is a very busy shop, serious applicants only.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. You are expected to drive and diagnose vehicles.
