Job Title: Phlebotomist
Duties:
- Perform venipuncture
- Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing
- Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazards materials
- Provide excellent customer service to patients during the collection process
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection
Comfortable to travel 10-20 miles outside of Wayne, NJ
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- Certification as a phlebotomist in NJ/NY preferred , 3-5 years of experience
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
