Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in patient coordination, sales, and both plastic surgery and aesthetic services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sharing their knowledge of our aesthetic services with patients, offering guidance and support throughout their experience.
This role is primarily responsible for coordinating all functions necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of patients, from check-in to treatment and check-out. As a key point of contact for non-clinical patient services, you will manage the scheduling process, maintain patient charts and electronic medical records, and ensure the front desk area is organized. The position requires exceptional customer service, a strong sales orientation, and a solid understanding of aesthetics to enhance the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients as they arrive and ensure they are promptly checked in.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely treatment.
Handle patient inquiries, provide information about services and assist with appointment scheduling.
Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Ensure the front desk and waiting area are clean, welcoming, and well-organized.
Collect payments and manage insurance verification and billing tasks as needed.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a smooth transition for patients between their appointments and treatments.
Provide knowledge and insight into aesthetic services offered to enhance the patient’s experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or reception role preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of aesthetics and/or plastic surgery is a plus.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Sales experience and a customer-focused mindset.
