Private medical practice has IMMEDIATE opening for PT/FT billing personnel. Must have a general knowledge of medical terminology, including proper use of ICD-9 / ICD-10, and have a minimum of one year experience in this field.
Must have an clear understanding of co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and electronic claim submission, resubmissions and posting payments. Must be proficient in reading EOB's and resolving denied claims or identifying inaccurate payments.
Accounting knowledge and/or background a plus and must be proficient in Excel. Must be highly motivated, responsible and able to work independently. Willing to train the right candidate with a foundational skillset. This is a low volume, but high efficiency practice, that requires exceptional work ethic.
