Job Title: Bilingual Benefit Educator

Duration: 8+ Months

Shift: This role has no set number of hours per day, week etc. This role is on an "as needed" basis.

Location- Morristown, NJ

Language – English & Spanish

Pay Range - Starts from $32/hr.

Pay Rate - $33.96/hr.

Note:- Candidates must be sourced from the below cities (or surrounding areas within 120 miles) and be willing and able to commute within said radius. This position requires driving responsibility. Candidate must be fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

The role of a Benefit Educator is a critical one to the success of our business. As the face of Client your primary responsibility is to conduct world class enrollment events that differentiate Client from our competitors. In this role you will be educating customers on Client’s products, services and programs through various formats including, but not limited to formal presentations, Q&A sessions, benefit fairs, health fairs, etc. The expectation is to create a highly satisfying and positive experience for our customers with knowledge, competence and professionalism.

Have and maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License

Current health care and benefit product insurance industry knowledge required

Familiarization with Supplemental Health Products (Accidental Injury, Critical Illness, Hospital Care)

Willing to work on an “as-needed” basis (including occasional last minute requests)

Will need to be available during peak season (August-December)

Will need to be comfortable speaking to large groups as well as with individuals 1 on 1

Successfully introduce and educate Client benefit programs to all potential and existing customers

Troubleshoot any enrollment or benefit questions and/or concerns

Will need to be willing to travel within the geographic market to cover events

Must have reliable transportation

Will be expected to charge expenses for travel (car rental, air, hotel etc) and will be reimbursed for those expenses

Must have access to email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and cell phone

Must live local to the geographic area

Skills:

Knowledge of local market nuances (providers, networks, competitors) preferred

Bilingual capabilities Required

Strong Presentation and PowerPoint skills (virtual or in person)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Strong organizational skills

Tech savvy (Webex, Zoom, Skype, and other various applications)

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Life and Health License required

Language-

English - Read Write Speak

Spanish - Read Write Speak
