About the Client & Environment:
You’ll be working 1-on-1 with a pleasant and bright young woman who thrives with positive encouragement, gentle structure, and engaging daily activities. The home environment is respectful, supportive, and warm—we treat our care team like family.
Your role will go beyond personal care—you’ll be guiding, teaching, and encouraging her to stay active and connected to the world around her. Outings, light exercise, learning moments, and joy are all part of the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide respectful assistance with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
Support and motivate physical activity (walking, light stretching, etc.)
Help implement simple daily routines that promote independence
Participate in outings to local centers, museums, and other activities
Foster a calm, light-spirited, and encouraging atmosphere
Communicate observations and updates as needed
You’re a Great Fit If You:
Are a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey
Speak clear English (essential for teaching and daily interaction)
Have a warm, upbeat, and nurturing personality
Are reliable, consistent, and value respect in the workplace
Enjoy helping others grow and engage with the world around them
Experience with developmental delays or disorders is a plus, but not required
