Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, talented, and dedicated Sous Chef to join our vibrant team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kosher compliance are consistently met. This is an incredible opportunity for a culinary professional with a deep understanding of Italian cooking techniques and a proven track record in a kosher kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.

Ensure strict adherence to all kosher dietary laws (Kashrut) in all food preparation, handling, and storage.

Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage food costs effectively.

Oversee kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Contribute to menu development and innovation, introducing new dishes and specials.

Manage food preparation schedules and ensure timely service during peak hours.

Troubleshoot kitchen issues and resolve them efficiently.

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume restaurant.
