Responsibilities
Preparing food items: This includes prepping ingredients, assembling dishes, and cooking menu items to order.
Cooking to order: Quickly and accurately preparing food items based on customer orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist chefs with cooking tasks and plating dishes as needed. Setting up for service, Restocking Supplies,
Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers with care.
Help manage inventory by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential.
Experience as a dietary aide or in catering settings is a plus.
Strong knife skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment are highly desirable.
