Alyce (formerly Café Alyce), an established neighborhood favorite known for creative, globally-inspired dishes, is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our team and lead our evening kitchen operations. We're evolving our identity, enhancing our dinner service, and want you to help shape this exciting next chapter!
Position Overview:
You will lead our night kitchen crew (a small, curated team of talented cooks), overseeing daily service, maintaining quality standards, and creating innovative specials that capture our vibrant, globally-inspired brand.
Responsibilities:
Lead evening service with professionalism, organization, and enthusiasm
Guide and mentor a team of 2-4 kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations
Consistently uphold culinary standards, hygiene, and presentation
Collaborate closely with our Executive Chef to develop and execute nightly specials that embody Alyce's culinary identity
Maintain inventory, food ordering, and kitchen cleanliness
Qualifications:
Proven experience (2+ years) in a leadership role in a professional kitchen
Exceptional cooking skills with creative flair and ability to execute globally-inspired dishes
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage staff effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Culinary school training or equivalent professional experience preferred
