Responsibilities for Assistant/Expeditor include:
Reading, arranging and calling tickets
Garnishing dishes
Setting up appetizers for cooks
Preparing noodles/rice for cooks
Restocking line and garnish stations
Prep for line and garnish stations
Responsibilities for Cook:
Reading tickets
Assembling and preparing Asian main courses and proteins on Cooktop
Prep for line and garnish stations
Responsibilities for Prep Cook:
Work with production manager to process ingredients for the line.
Must have reasonably fast/precise cutting skills.
Pay based on experience.
Culinary training, experience with front of house, experience in Asian cuisine, dumpling folding and ServSafe certification warrant higher compensation.
Part-time flexible shifts currently available, leading to full-time.
Jersey City locals preferred.
