At Milk Sugar Love, we make one of the top three ice creams in the state and have been featured in the New York Times as well as Thrillist, Tastemade, Infatuation, Found In and Business Insider. We make all our ice cream and baked goods by hand in our kitchen in Jersey City, using only all natural milk and cream to create our unique, chef-driven flavors.
Working the Milk Sugar Love ice cream counter involves making and serving all menu items while interacting with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner. Making our guests feel welcome and cared for is at the heart of our business and we are looking for team members who can help turn first time guests into life time fans.
Must be able to:
start immediately
stay until 11 p.m. for closings and have a reliable means of coming to and from work
work 3 shifts per week (must be available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays though we do our best to make sure you have 1 weekend day off)
be friendly and able to talk to customers with confidence
follow lists consistently
clean-cleaning and disinfecting is a huge part of working in the food industry!
Must have a social security number
Must live in Jersey City
Must be a minimum of 19 years old
Must be reliableno chaos, only team players and great communicators!
