Homespun Chili is looking for a dedicated and responsible person with an upbeat, friendly and enthusiastic personality to sell our food product at Farmers markets.
Our product always makes a great impression and so should our SALES PERSON!

Homespun chili was formed in 2010 and has grown and maintained a loyal customer base in Bergen and Morris County NJ and Westchester NY. We primarily sell our product through Farmers Markets at these locations and at our retail store in Dumont, NJ. At Homespun Chili we offer a diverse selection of vegan, vegetarian and meat based chilis, stews and curries that are handcrafted, all natural and gluten free, packaged and sold frozen.
JOB TYPE:
Part time position - Farmers Market Vendor - Approx. 8 Hrs. Per. market
Vendor needed - May through November in the Westchester area.
$20.00 + Per Hr. (Pay and hours to be discussed during interview)
Must be available to work Weekends - (Sat and or Sunday’s)
Must have OWN Vehicle large enough to hold necessary equipment to drive to and from Farmers Market!

JOB DESCRIPTION: Part time weekend work as a Farmers Market Vendor, setting up, selling, schmoozing and breaking down a Homespun Chili market tent setup.
The work consist of the following:
Stocking coolers with a selection of our frozen products at our store location.
Loading up your vehicle with a tent, coolers, signage, tables and other necessary items.
Arriving on time to the Farmers Market and setting up everything properly.
Serving and educating our customers on our products and each of our flavors.
Accepting credit card purchases to complete sales.
Responsibilities Include:
Being PUNCTUAL and DEPENDABLE is KEY!
Driving to our store location to load up your OWN vehicle.
Driving back to the store to put unsold product back into freezers and to drop off market paraphernalia in its proper place.
Keeping the tent setup organized for a good clean appearance.
Having fun, enjoying the day and keeping things upbeat!
Becoming familiar with our product flavors to keep our customers informed.
