We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team and lead our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

As the Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:

Menu Development and Food Consistency:

Creating enticing menus and innovative specials that resonate with our culinary vision and customer preferences.

Maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation across all service channels.

Collaborating with management to develop seasonal specials and promotions, facilitating effective communication with front-of-house staff to maximize upselling opportunities.

Kitchen Management:

Leading and supervising kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Streamlining kitchen workflow to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals, fostering teamwork and cohesion among staff.

Upholding stringent hygiene and safety standards in compliance with health regulations, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring ingredient and supply levels, overseeing ordering and purchasing to minimize waste and maintain optimal stock levels.

Conducting regular inventory audits to identify and address discrepancies, implementing strategies to reduce waste and maximize efficiency.

Kitchen Maintenance:

Ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the kitchen at all times.

Coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs as needed, optimizing workflow and storage solutions to maximize efficiency.

Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality standards.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Must be bilingual, have a proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary industry.

Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management best practices.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor kitchen staff.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in menu planning, costing, and inventory management software/tools.

Creativity and innovation in menu development and culinary presentations.

A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred, though not required.
