Som's & Maitre'D compensation is commensurate with experience.
The ideal server candidate is enthusiastic, a team player, and is a true Drift Hospitality Group brand ambassador. Servers occupy one of the most integral functions in the restaurant. You are responsible for full menu knowledge, selling menu items, curating the best guest experience, and building repeat guests. Beyond that, you are expected to use your skill, knowledge, and personality to provide a dining experience that exceeds all expectations. Servers are hired based on experience, ability, and character.
Hourly Rate (Servers/Bartenders) $5.26 + tips (with NJ Tip Allowance Applied)
- must have at least 2 years in a high volume NYC/NJ or similar environment.
- knows food well and can direct and guide guests through a culinary experience.
- comprehensive beverage knowledge.
- organized and composed.
- loves high energy, high volume environments and can thrive under pressure.
- loves making , can sell appropriately based on guest needs and can anticipate/suggestively sell.
- loves being in the middle of the action and being part of the show.
- LOVES a non pooled tip floor.
- knows how to read the room.
- can carry a cocktail tray as easy as they wake up.
- knows all proper french style service including wine service.
- eloquent and professional, with a positive and polite demeanor.
- punctual, neat, intelligent, and can think on their feet.
- knows how to work with the pros and can keep up or show us up!
