Seeking a FT/PT cake decorator who is willing to learn and adapt to our amazing culture. Our cake decorator will integrate into our team to help facilitate daily preparation and production of our cakes and baked goods while ensuring the highest level of quality in our brand new, state of the art kitchen. Decorating, Baking, Cleaning after yourself and workspace is a focus of this job. You must be proficient in spatula use and piping.
SUNDAYS/MONDAYS OFF
Job Qualifications:
Experience necessary especially using spatula to ice butter cream and whipped cream cakes/pastries
Must be proficient with the use of a piping bag
Professional work ethic and effective communication skills.
Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and part of a team, resourcefully, and meet hard deadlines.
Ability to meet some physical demands including extended periods of standing and walking throughout the day; able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds, push/ pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays, and holidays as needed.
Work Ethic: You're punctual, quick on your feet, and a team player. You're always on time and rarely call out. Not the last person in and the first person out.
Reliability and accountabililty is vital since we are a small business.
Great attitude and demeanor to add value to our amazing team is a must.
Must understand and speak English since we are dealing with allergies.
Must understand and have working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.Your friends should know you as a clean and well kept person.
Food handler's certification (will be required but we will help you get it)
