Popular, high volume bagel shop is seeking a motivated individual to serve as an Operating Partner to manage its day-to-day operations.
This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the business- everything from hiring managing employees, negotiating with suppliers, filling in various roles on a needed basis (Barista, cashier, etc.) and any challenges that arise. You will be treated AND compensated like a partner.
Additionally, this individual will work closely with the founders in executing their growth strategy. We are well capitalized, and our goal is to aggressively grow into multiple locations.
This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wishes to enter the bagel business but is still either in college or is many years away from having sufficient capital to start their own business. You will get the learning experience upside of becoming an entrepreneur without having to spend years saving up your own money and having the downside risk.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Entrepreneurial mindset – you will be our Operating Partner with the full intent of being an EQUITY PARTNER
- Previous retail, service or hospitality experience – specifically in a leadership role within QSR
- Supervisory skills, including hiring & firing personnel
- Excellent delegation and follow up skills, ability to get the team to execute goals
- A strong sense of urgency
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for going above-and-beyond
- Good attention to detail
- Proactive about identifying potential issues and creative problems solving skills
- Be a good role model and to consistently exhibit the highest level of professionalism and integrity
- Team Player – willingness to fill in for any job as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend shifts.
- Be comfortable lifting boxes
