Childcare Toddler Teacher and Assistant

We Are Looking For: A dedicated and caring Toddler Teacher and Assistant to join our team. This individual will support our lead teachers and director, contributing to our warm and dynamic learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Children: Assist children with daily needs, including toilet training, ensuring their safety, and meeting their social, emotional, and physical needs.

Teaching or Assisting Teachers: Support lead teachers by preparing activities, managing diaper changes, overseeing feeding times, and maintaining cleanliness.

Supporting Students: Guide students through activities, monitor their responses, and work with them individually or in small groups.

Creating a Safe Environment: Contribute to a caring and secure atmosphere for children, document observations, complete assessments, and checklists.

Additional Tasks: Prepare and serve meals, change diapers, write daily reports, record attendance, engage in play, assist with nap times, set out snacks, prepare craft materials, manage a daily schedule that includes structured activities and breaks, observe children and note any concerns, and communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Requirements:

- CDA (Child Development Associate) Certificate as minimum.

- Excellent communication, listening, and teamwork skills.

- A passion for working with toddlers and a strong commitment to their development and well-being.

- Previous experience in a daycare setting preferred.

- Bilingual (Spanish speaking a plus)
