Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Salon Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing daily front-desk operations. You will also assist with light cleaning duties to maintain the salon’s professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments using salon management software.
Confirm and manage client appointments, ensuring accurate scheduling and minimizing conflicts.
Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and client waiting areas.
Perform light cleaning tasks, including sweeping hair, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Assist with light laundry duties, such as washing and folding towels and capes.
Keep inventory of salon supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
Coordinate with stylists and technicians to ensure seamless client flow.
Provide information about salon services, products, and promotions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role (preferably in a salon or spa environment).
Proficiency with scheduling/register software is a plus but not needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and professional environment.
Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Light lifting may be required for laundry or supply stocking.
