Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payout Operations Associate to oversee the execution of consignor payouts across our auction operations. The role is primarily focused on processing payments for items sold through our established eBay store, with future responsibilities extending to our upcoming proprietary live commerce platform. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring consignors are paid accurately and on time, maintaining trust and transparency throughout the post-sale experience.
Key Responsibilities
Execute consignor payments using our proprietary payout system, based on finalized sales data
Review and reconcile sales, returns, and order statuses to determine payout eligibility
Maintain detailed records of all payments for audit, accounting, and reporting purposes
Respond to consignor inquiries related to payment status and transaction history
Identify and implement improvements to the payout process to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Support payout operations for our new live commerce platform as it launches and scales
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in payment operations, accounting, finance, or administrative support
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Familiarity with internal payment platforms or order management systems preferred
Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating digital tools and data systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
