Lab System Engineer

Sunrise System Inc. is currently looking for

• The Laboratory Systems Engineer will provide Application support for validated laboratory execution and data collection software systems.
• The positions will be part of a team to ensure reliable 24/7 operation of enterprise integrated Lab systems.

• A successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field with at least 3 years of experience preferably in the pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
• Experience with GMP, 21CFR Part 11 and lab IT system required.
• A successful candidate will have knowledge of laboratory automation technologies with emphasis on lab execution system (Preferably Biovia Smart lab LES and Biovia CIMS), Empower 3, Nugenesis.
• Must be Experienced with MS Windows Server, experience with SQL and Oracle is desirable. Knowledge of LIMS systems and Chromatography systems is very helpful.
• Experience building methods for execution in VelQuest with Biovia Method Builder or building consumable templates and workflows in Biovia Lims is helpful.
• A successful candidate will possess
• Skills and experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined work groups.
• Experience and/or substantial understanding of Lab system principles and common system vendors' available products.
• Experience with automated laboratory systems and technology.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment, and manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent written and communication skill are required.
• Candidate must have a flexible and creative work style with a goal of excellent client support.

• 3+years in Biopharma
• 3+ years of experience with GMP, 21 CFR Part 11
• 3+ years of experience with Lab IT Systems
• 3+ years of Empower
• SQL and Oracle
• Experience with administration of BIOVIA LES (VelQuest) and Biovia LIMS is Preferred
