Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical company is hiring a Indirect Procurement Analyst on a long-term Contract basis.Location: New Brunswick, NJ.Rate type: W2 only Job Description: o Understand the Professional Services (PS), Consulting and Human Resource (HR) business requirements and translate them into effectively leading sourcing initiatives including Requests for (Proposals, Information, Solutions etc.(RFXs), PS Agreement execution, the execution of Master Services Agreements (MSA), and Statements of Work (SOW)o Facilitate continuous improvement and ideation that will enable the Business Partner, Category and Functional Leads to achieve strategic objectives.o Lead cross-functional teams to manage sourcing projects in support of business requirements and expected business outcomes.o Business partnering with Global Procurement and other functional areas, e.g. Legal, HR, Software Asset Management, and Finance, globally. Extensive interaction with Business Partners is required to ensure that strategies, objectives, total costs are aligned and optimal savings are realized in the execution of contracts.Major Duties include:o Contract Negotiation and Development ability to negotiate and draft Commercial Terms and defend Legal Terms on standard internal template agreements for Professional Services, Consulting and Human Resourcing engagementso Build, maintain and enhance relationships with leading Professional Services, Consulting, HR firms and internal stakeholderso Leads in the development and evaluation of supplier Requests for Information/Proposal/Solution (RFxs) including ensuring comprehensive requirements and specifications, pricing models and contract terms are included.o Lead and manage the full RFx process from RFx development through contract execution.o Evaluate competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for goods or services.o Negotiate and/or issue contracts, amendments, and attachments obtaining legal review and approval of a contract when required.o Facilitate and lead appropriate contracting processes from proof of concept to award/supplier selection.o Manages multiple, complex projects independently.o Aligns Procurement goals with clients business objectives.o Apply appropriate business analytics to review proposals and provide accurate financial comparisons of business proposalso Drive sustainable/substantial cost savings and value beyond savings for the PS, Consulting and HR categories.o Utilize e-Procurement tools (Ariba) to manage sourcing projectso Operate as trusted advisor by providing procurement insights and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelors degree is required, Masters Preferred,5+ years in Indirect Procurement Services Categories preferably supporting PS, HR and Consulting Services categories,Proficient working knowledge of enterprise IT software and services norms and practices, preferredExperience in evaluating the market, assessing suppliers, contracting and financial analysis.Demonstrated ability to partner with and manage internal stakeholders at all levels within a highly matrixed organization, working across cross-functional, cross-organizational teamsExperience negotiating with top tier IT suppliersPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated leadership, procurement and business acumenDemonstrated strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyKnowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Agile Contracting is a plusA proactive, creative and analytical approach to challenges.Demonstrated high degree of independence, requiring minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to partner, manage and influence.Ability to demonstrate both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need and/or defending a position/decision.Sincerely yours, Nitin Patel Senior Technical Recruiter TSR Consulting Services, Inc. 379 Thornall Street, 6th Floor, Edison, NJ 08837 Office: www.tsrconsulting.com
