Job Title: Electro Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionAs an Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing equipment repairs through troubleshooting and diagnosis, adjusting, and replacing defective components efficiently to minimize downtime. You will complete preventive maintenance on various machines, following diagrams, machine manuals, and manufacturers' instructions. Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), you will complete scheduled and emergency work orders to maintain optimum manufacturing line efficiencies.Responsibilities

Perform equipment repairs through troubleshooting and diagnosis, adjusting and replacing defective components.

Complete preventive maintenance on various machines; follow diagrams, machine manuals, and manufacturers' instructions.

Use CMMS to complete scheduled and emergency work orders and record data into MP2.

Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, straight edges, and other necessary tools.

Assist other mechanics in major repairs and learn diagnostic techniques.

Generate paperwork for parts and work orders for service, including tracking defective parts.

Clean and replace different types of filters as needed.

Assist with building and grounds maintenance as needed.

Inform supervisors and management team of potential hazards and recommend corrective solutions.

Perform all work in accordance with OSHA standards for general industry.

Stay updated on new technology, devices, and manufacturing processes.

Follow blueprints, install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment or conveyors, and perform safety control testing.

Attend company scheduled meetings as required.

Inform supervision of any problems or complications timely.

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Meet company standards for quantity and quality of work, adhering to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior.

Follow all Company Safety policies, GMP regulations, and lock-out/tag-out requirements according to OSHA.

Be aware of food safety and safe food handling practices relevant to the job, and undergo mandatory Food Safety Training.

Essential Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to measure size and dimension using calipers and interpret bar graphs.

Proficiency in electrical installations, maintenance, and repair in all settings.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Mail, and MP2.

Ability to operate industrial forklifts, equipment, or tools.

Flexibility to work overtime including weekends as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of related experience as an electronics mechanic.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of electrical tools and machines used in the setting.

Working knowledge of PLC, VSD, and industrial controls.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
