Job Title: Clinical Trials Financial AnalystJob DescriptionThe Clinical Trials Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing financial aspects of clinical trials, including budget preparation, negotiation, billing, and compliance. This role involves interfacing with various departments and sponsors to ensure smooth financial operations and regulatory adherence in clinical research.Responsibilities

Request clinical trial budgets and contracts from sponsors and CROs

Review clinical trial protocols and develop internal budgets

Prepare clinical trial budget documents

Interface with various departments and sponsors to negotiate budgets

Facilitate clinical trial billing

Ensure clinical research billing and regulatory compliance

Assist with accounts receivables and follow up on outstanding revenue payments

Liaise with central Research Financial Services (RFS) to close out clinical trials

Review incoming revenue/cash each week to identify new revenues and obtain corresponding payment backups

Perform journal entries in a timely manner

Assist team working with central RFS on cleaning up and identifying project sources for “unapplied” payments

Monitor EPIC MP requisitions (not approving) and update tracker and available project account balance using Oracle reports

Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Experience with Oncore, EPIC, Oracle, and clinical trial budgeting

Knowledge of FDA regulations and clinical research processes

Strong financial analysis and negotiation skills

Proficiency in clinical trial billing and regulatory compliance

Ability to perform journal entries and manage accounts receivables

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Background in oncology is a plus

Excellent communication and organizational skills
