7+ years of SQL Server DBA experience, 9+ IT experience
Experience with Implementation, Installation, Database Administration, Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, Backup & Recovery and Testing SQL Server versions thru 2019 Experience administrating databases in Azure and AWS Experience migrating databases from old to new versions, On Prem to Cloud, Cloud to On Prem, and Cloud to Cloud Experience with SQL Server features Always On Cluster, SSIS Packages, and SSRS Reports Experience scripting in Windows PowerShell Knowledge of the systems development life cycle Excellent communication, analytical and consultative skills with management, clients, and peers High quality decision making skills with less than perfect information Experience writing technical instructions Ability to periodically work nights and weekends Previous experience with Data Center Migrations a plus Experience in Health Care / Regulated Environment a plus Redshift Experience using Massively Parallel Processing (MP) UNIX/LINUX O/S experience Python Scripting Experience using Redshift, including What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?
