Immediate Technologist position with a opportunities for growth in a high volume hospital setting, looking for a candidate with bachelors in a science or Medical Laboratory Technology and ASCP certification. This position is a second shift opportunity from 3pm-11pm. (overnight and day shifts available as well) Description:
Support core laboratory in trauma hospital
Work within academic medical center
Support overnight core laboratory operations
Blood bank procedures
Run compatibility tests for blood transfusions
Manage and utilize blood inventory
Assistance with preparation and collection of QC for blood bank
Perform ABO/Rh, Direct Coombs, antibody screening, antibody identification, elution, antigen typing, compatibility testing and other specialized testing
