Attorney/Lawyer

Description We are inviting applications for an Attorney/Lawyer position in Newark, New Jersey. This role involves working within the family law sector and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be involved in tasks such as writing briefs/motions and handling client contact. This role is ideal for candidates who are barred in NJ and are proficient with NJ family courts.Responsibilities: Draft and prepare briefs and motions in accordance with the requirements of family law cases. Engage in direct communication with clients to gather necessary information and provide legal advice. Work with case management software to organize, track and manage cases efficiently. Utilize Adobe Acrobat and other document management tools to manage and organize case files. Collaborate with the legal team and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of legal proceedings. Utilize your knowledge of family law to provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients. Handle complaints and other legal issues in an efficient and professional manner. Stay updated with current laws and regulations within the family law practice. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to manage and resolve complex family law cases. Work in compliance with all legal standards and regulations related to family law in New Jersey. Requirements Must have a professional degree in law from an accredited university. Should be active and in good standing in state of New Jersey Proficiency in 3M and Conveyancer is required. Must have the ability to manage and organize legal documents. Experience in briefing and preparing legal briefs is compulsory. Civil Litigation and Claim Administration skills are essential.
