Client Summary: Our client is a leading not-for-profit health care organization that is the largest, most comprehensive and truly integrated health care network in New Jersey, offering a complete range of medical services, innovative research and life-enhancing care.Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele/TelemetryThe Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education Requirement:Preferred Education:Required Certifications & Licensure:BLS must be AHA.NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.Must have a strong MS/Tele background.Schedule Notes:7:00 PM - 7:30 AM 3 x12 hours per weekEvery Other Weekend Required3/6 Holidays RequiredNo On-Call RequirementFloat Requirement: yesEquiliem Healthcare specializes in staffing clinical, non-clinical, and allied personnel.
