Description Robert Half has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional at a growing company. In this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers
Represent and exude the values, culture, and mission of the organization
Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans
Verify documents and codes
Present information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Expertise in billing
Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
