The Cardiovascular Administrative team is charged with overseeing the cardiovascular service line, one of the largest and most impactful of the core service lines within AHS. The Cardiovascular Administrative Internship responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for project management within the Cardiovascular Service Line as assigned by leadership team
Complete assigned projects within the internship timeframe
Organize and present critical information
Engage and communicate with leadership team
Develop awareness of how a health care environment functions in real time
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution
Must be enrolled in a Master of Health Administration (MHA) program
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025
Ability to present & organize information
Must demonstrate strong communication skills, including active listening
Must have strong data analysis & project management skills
Possess a general understanding of a health care environment
Can work independently and is a self-starter
