You will perform modifications, upgrades and troubleshooting on existing equipment as well as installation and commissioning of new equipment. You will focus on accuracy, timely feedback and customer satisfaction. You will drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues. You will use your influence to expedite complicated cases. You will develop broad understanding of customer needs and product offerings. You will drive the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. You will perform all activities to company safety standards.This position is based remotely with 100% travel throughout the NE states from ME down to VA and PA and occasionally nationwide.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate issue identification, analysis, investigation, and resolution of technical issues
Provide informal technical training and build relationships with customers
Use Electrical and Mechanical skillset to test equipment using tools and software
Occasionally work alone but develop and share knowledge within a team
YOU MUST HAVE
Previous electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing or production environment
WE VALUE
Extensive customer facing experience
Experience in the material handling industry (sorters, conveyors, palletizers)
Excellent interpersonal verbal & written communication skills
Strong continuous improvement mindset, and leadership tendency
Experience with Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Concur, Kronos, Oracle
Strong focus on safety specifically LOTOT and Job Hazard Analysis
Good administrative skills including accurate timekeeping, expense reporting and service reports
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Software programming experience
Fanuc and/or Yaskawa robotics experience
