Description South Jersey service firm is seeking an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will assist the Accounting Manager with general accounting duties. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts receivable, reconciliations and various administrative and accounting functions.
Processing of invoices, credit memos and other postings to accounts receivable
Match vendor invoices to checks for payment
Maintain daily cash flow
Bank reconciliations for operating and payroll accounts
Entering accounts payable invoices.
Process accounts payable checks
Assorted general ledger month end close duties
Requirements
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word); QuickBooks
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Minimum high school diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
