When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future-you’ll create it.As a Lead System Engineering, you will be responsible for supporting all network change management related to printers/servers as well as security vulnerability mitigation. Investigates printers not on network (No answer from device (NAFD’s)) and provides oversight to our managed print services providers.As the Subject Matter Expert in network connectivity and requirements, specifically as it relates to the print environment. Role maintains our print services data matrix, asset listing, and metrics: our capture of critical inventory components that the team uses for decision making.The role is a key component of managing and rolling out our new Print Release 2.0 solution; a member of the project team made of technical SME’s from various groups internal and external. Instrumental in reviewing, updating, and governing our managed print service providers in adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Policy and Procedures. Partners with managed print service providers with creating, updating, and managing policy and procedures manual (PPM).Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components

Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context

Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces

Validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives

Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others

Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline

Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives

Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities

Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers

Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, retrospective workshops

Understand technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms

Defines designs

Provides technical enablement for application components and subsystems for an application(s)

Drives important design decisions for development team.

Required Experience:

5-8 years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

Proficiency in network connectivity protocols e.g., TCP/IP DHCP, DNS, VPN

Experience with print scanning applications e.g., CentreWare Web (CWW)

Knowledge of network fundamentals e.g., IP addresses, subnetting, MAC addresses, network layers.

Experience in device configurations of printers, servers, firewalls, routers, switches.

Knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Experience in troubleshooting network issues e.g. connectivity, latency, output rendering.

Experience in security vulnerability mitigation

Managing user groups that allow access to servers and applications

Desired Education:

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred

Our Lead System Engineering earns between $128,400 - $215,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
