Description We are seeking a proficient Administrative professional in the Financial Services industry to work in Matawan, New Jersey. Responsibilities: Process and handle all incoming and outbound client calls with professionalism, documenting, researching, completing forms, and ensuring follow-ups as needed. Collaborate with customers and carriers to resolve claims issues for assigned clients. Ensure all incoming work volume is processed within the established goals and parameters. Review pending client issues to ensure completion and follow up on open items. Contribute to the team’s customer service phone goals for Average Speed of Answer and Abandonment Rate. Consult with assigned clients on annual open enrollment renewal, providing options and alternative carriers. Assist with accounting related tasks, including contacting clients with delinquent and non-payment accounts to obtain payment, generating billing discrepancies reports, and correcting billing errors. Support account executives and sales producers with client issues and sales support tasks. Assist the assigned team in new business case implementation or existing customer changes, including assistance as needed with the setup of ancillary accounts. Make scheduled courtesy calls to assigned accounts, maintain strong relationships with carriers, and demonstrate thorough knowledge of all assigned clients.Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role within the financial services industry Proficiency in Commercial Insurance principles and practices Solid understanding of financial products and services Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Ability to handle confidential information with discretion High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to continuously improve product knowledge and skills Flexibility to work in shifts if necessary High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in finance or economics will be a plus.
