Description We are in search of a Sales & Customer Care Consultant to join our team in the retail industry located in Mahwah, New Jersey. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service while managing customer inquiries and complaints. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and is a crucial part of our customer care and sales team.Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customers to address and resolve issues and complaints across multiple channels including email, phone, live chat, and social media Ensure a high-quality customer experience is delivered consistently Proactively anticipate customer needs to prevent potential barriers to a seamless customer experience Assist customers with various inquiries including product queries, returns, delivery, registration, payments, and more Contribute toward meeting departmental KPIs including sales, quality, and productivity targets Collaborate with colleagues across the Customer Care department and other internal departments to continuously improve service and knowledge Process and handle customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts Assist with order entry and schedule appointments as necessary Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and email correspondence. Requirements Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Should have experience in Data Entry and Order Entry. Prior experience in a Call Center Customer Service role is highly desirable. Must be capable of Answering Inbound Calls and handling Inbound Outbound Calls. Must have a strong background in providing excellent Customer Service. Must be able to manage Email Correspondence effectively. The ability to Schedule Appointments efficiently is required. Prior experience in the retail industry is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
