Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, JCAHO requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.EDUCATION:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Current and active New Jersey RN licensure is required.

Completion of all Orientation requirements of Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

Must be NRP, BLS (American Heart Association) and phlebotomy certified.
