Description/Job SummaryLooking for an experienced direct sales representative with a minimum of 3-5 yearrs experience of Industrial Stretch Film sales knowledge and experience. This Individual will have torelocate or live in Indiana or the Cincinnati Marketplace to cover Packaging Distributors in the States of IN, Southern IL and the Cincinnati/ Columbus marketplace. They will beresponsible for developing a 2-3 Million territory by adding Packaging Distributors and supporting National Customers. They will need to re-engage all existing distributor base bymaking frequent visits.Responsibilities/DutiesTo grow and maintain Packaging Distributors. To develop a list of potential Packaging Distributors, call on them, present offerings, pricing and sell product benefits. Must call DistributorSales reps for work days and help develop new end user business. Must be able to work as a partner to help them quote competitive pricing, select proper product to test againstcompetitve films, and to close sales presentation based on offering a better Packaging solution. Must be willing to travel 50-70% of the time making calls. Must have good oral andwritten communication skills.Manage all Distributor pricing and special pricing deviationsMeet with local Distribution at least every other week & work with their sales forceTrain all DSR's on AmTopp Film OfferingDevelop list of end users and potential distributors to grow existing businessConduct sales training as needed to increase distributor penetrationSet up weekly distributor work with days calling on new end user business to grow businessMaintain a list of potential distributors & develop an action plan to bring them on boardComplete all administration on a timely basis or as requiredEnsure orders are entered and priced correctly.Resolve any quality issues by visiting end users to document concerns & send in samples to allow quality issues to be analyzed.Communicate with your Regional Manager several times a week or daily to enlist price support or direction to resolve open issues of concern.Complete credit issues with current distribution and ensure bills are paid within terms.Complete credit applications for new customers and work with CSR & Credit Dept to bring on board.Implement all new pricing and all price increase and decreases in a timely manner.Provide market intel as needed on competitive pricing and new competitive offerings.Work with Customer Service to ensure all min/ max or aged inventory to taken.Required SkillsPrevious Stretch Film sales experience 3-5 years +. Must be comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.Technical Skills required to perform this job: Must have strong stretch film Product Knowledge, competitive film knowledge and knowledge of how to conduct film audits. Must havesome knowledge of stretch wrappers and how to maximize film's performance on them.Education: High School Education required, and College Degree preferred.Preferred SkillsLearn how to conduct film audits and usage analysis to sell AmTopp films vs. CompetitionUnderstand how to properly us a Highlight test kit or Lantech kit.Understand how to work basic stretch wrapper control to conduct a film auditLearn how AmTopp films are installed on stretch wrappers and how to maximize film performanceUnderstand the proper AmTopp film to offer against competitive filmsRequired ExperienceMust be able to interact with Packaging Distributors to train reps, make sales calls with DSR's (Distributor Sales Reps), implement pricing, select best distributor partners and managecompetitive distribution. Must be able to cold call on end users, target and develop new distribution and end users. Must feel comfortable calling on Distribution Senior Management,Owner, Presidents, Sales Management, Buyers and Sales reps. Strong communication skills and integrity are critical.Must feel comfortable performing Product training and providing pricing quotations on new businessDetailsCompany to provide stretch film training, and film audit training. Will shadow peers to gain knowledge of AmTopp product offering and paper work. Regional Manager to reviewrequired paperwork, administration, all required forms, Pricing and Quality reports, monthly reports, etc.
