In conjunction with investigators, the Transplant Research Coordinator identifies, prepares, and implements new clinical trials; screens for and enrolls study participants, participates in the informed consent process, coordinates care of the subjects and study procedures while on protocol treatment as well as during the follow-up phase. The Transplant Research Coordinator communicates with physicians-investigators on day-to-day progress of patients in clinical trials and ensures consistency of study implementation, data management and integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting. Keeps track of and order necessary supplies. May provide nursing care to patients in research protocols as well as coverage in the Transplant Clinic and Transplant Short Stay Unit as assigned.Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.

Bachelors Degree preferred.

Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification preferred.

Experience in renal dialysis and/or transplantation including management of patients post transplantation and /or clinical research experience preferred.

Or

Licensed, clinical pharmacist with experience in either transplant or clinical research.

Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.Special Equipment/Skills:Must seek and maintain in-depth knowledge of transplant nursing as well as clinical research. Must be highly motivated, self-directed professional. Organizational ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
