They will be responsible for anticipating and addressing the complex, individual needs of patients and will work to create an efficient workflow within the unit.Qualifications:Required:
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
At least 2 years acute care nursing experience or 2 years acute care nursing experience with preview management experience
Experienced RN with Charge Nurse experience or Nurse Manager experience
Completion of all Orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
Successful completion of all orientation programs
Preferred:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Active Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Additional certifications may be required as per the Administrative Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Policy
Scheduling Requirements:
Day shift
37.5 hours a week
2 weekend shifts per month
Essential Functions:Assistant Director will assist the Nursing Director with unit Operations and will provide support to the nursing team. They will supervise, assess and evaluate the safe and quality care of all patients during their shift.
