Description Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with Purchasing experience. In this role you will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations. You will also work and negotiate with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company as well as locating suppliers, researching goods, services and materials and processing purchasing orders. Are you are a highly analytical and deadline-oriented professional? Then this is the position for you!Responsibilities of the Position:
Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
Process and prepare purchase orders
Requirements
At least 2 years experience as an accounts payable specialist, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
Purchasing experience.
Keen attention to detail.
Great time management and organizational skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
