With the launch of our pick-up and drop-off services, we're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Driver to ensure the smooth operation of this vital service component, enhancing our commitment to delivering unparalleled customer satisfaction.
Position Summary:
The Dry Cleaner Pick-Up & Drop-Off Driver will be responsible for the safe and punctual collection and delivery of our customers' dry cleaning items. This role is suited for individuals who exhibit strong organizational skills, are committed to excellence in customer service, and can work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct morning route collections and deliveries between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM and afternoon routes from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Coordinate pick-up and drop-off times with customers, adhering to established routes and schedules to ensure efficiency.
Maintain the delivery vehicle's cleanliness and operational readiness.
Treat all customer items with the highest level of care, following company handling standards.
Deliver superior customer service, including promptly addressing and escalating customer issues to management.
Keep accurate logs of pickups and deliveries, securing signatures for received items as necessary.
Ensure full compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
Liaise with the customer service team to report any delays or concerns.
Handle payment or signature collection upon delivery when required.
Qualifications:
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferably with prior experience in a delivery role, but not mandatory.
Strong skills in organization and time management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
A high school diploma or equivalent education.
Good knowledge of GPS and local area navigation.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to cover morning and afternoon routes.
