Experienced Auto Body Paint Prepper & Painter Wanted
We are seeking a talented and experienced Auto Body Paint Prepper & Painter to join our high-performing team. Your expertise in both vehicle preparation and refinishing We are a busy, well-regarded shop with many OEM certifications that prides itself on quality craftsmanship and efficient turnaround times.
Core Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Meticulously prep vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, feather edging, masking,
Modern and well-maintained paint booth equipment and color eye computer technology
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leaders and other technicians and other paint staff to ensure a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven, professional experience as a paint prepper and painter in an auto body shop.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of different types of paints, primers, surface prep techniques, and automotive refinishing processes.
Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and color matching, with a passion for delivering a perfect final product.
Certification: I-CAR or ASE certification is a strong plus.
Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and committed to a strong work ethic.
Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
